General Ceremony Folder or Album or Album Cover |
Whilst not a legal requirement, because general celebrancy is not governed by any specific legislation, it is useful to: * use a Register during the Ceremony and * to keep a signed record of your other celebrancy work. The former because it gives couple and families the message that what they are doing is important effort for you to record and for them to have a record with more details than just the certificates.
Signing into a "book" looks more official, and provides a little more time for posed photos. The latter can be an advantage for taxation records (eg if you are claiming mileage for ceremony work) and a record of other information for future reference. Top of page

templates for you to create your own certificates, using our totally blank card (except for pre-printed borders) |
- for you to print the basic format then hand write the details upon, using an Artline Calligraphy pen, or |
- for you to fill in the details in a fancy script font into text boxes set up for this purpose, and then print out in one go |
The advantage of the latter is that you can print out a draft of rough paper, double check all the details before printing onto the good card. |
Other advantages: |
*
Some people prefer a cool colour (white) - others a warm colour (cream). So you can offer that choice. |
*
The card can be bubble jet (not water-proof) or laser over-printed with colour motifs or even photographs. So certificates can be personalised. eg Baby's photo on cards, or original wedding photo on a Renewal of Vows or Wedding Anniversary. |
*
Gold or silver craft outlines stickers, which look like embossing when applied, may be used as motifs, or to "dress up" the certificate and its envelope. |
*
For ceremonies on short notice, you can have a supply of blank card in A4 and A5 on hand always, so will not be caught short. |
*
As you don't commit a card to a particular certificate, until you need it, there is limited wastage and damage. ( other than the actual mistakes you make). As opposed to have a supply of pre-printed certificates in case - which may never eventuate ! |
