![]() A modern civil celebrant needs to have good IT and computer skills.This can be a daunting prospect for many.
However the ACCN is here as a resource support for celebrants, and especially our ACCN members. More young and not so young couples and families use the internet to find and buy products and services. There are ways to have a web presence without spending thousands of dollars, if you can not afford that.
If you do not have your own website, the ACCN suggests you consider: STEP ONE: Once listed, if you go to Directory, and search for your Listing For example, the example celebrant listing URL is: Please contact us if you need more information about this. STEP TWO: Buy your OWN DOMAIN name. There are may places on the web to buy domain names .. just Google. Then purchase a DOMAIN MANAGER (Pointer) for an EXTRA $19.95 pa : Netregistry - Domain Manager And point your DOMAIN name to your ACCN web entry. TOTAL COST: STEP THREE: Unlike Steps 1 and 2 above, these web pages will make no reference to the ACCN at all. The advantage these three approaches however is that you can edit your entry any time, without needing to pay a web developer to do anything extra for you.
